Kolade Adepeju Ademilola (Ph.D), a Lecturer I in the Department of Medical Rehabilitation, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife is a Physiotherapist with a strong commitment to teaching, research, and community engagement, and a clear public health orientation. Her academic work is focused on advancing physiotherapy practice through evidence-based, innovative, population-centred and technological approaches. Her research interests include Community(Public) Health Physiotherapy, Digital Health, Women’s Health, Sports, and Physical Fitness with particular interest in health promotion, disease and injury prevention, rehabilitation, performance optimisation across the life course. Her work emphasises population-based and technology-enabled physiotherapy interventions aimed at improving physical activity participation, functional outcomes, and quality of life, especially within low-resource and underserved settings. As an academic, She is committed to high-quality teaching and student mentorship, fostering critical thinking, and promoting ethical, patient-centred, and population-focused physiotherapy practice.
