His research has primarily focused on Medical Rehabilitation, with a strong emphasis on Manipulative Physiotherapy. Over the years, he have cultivated a collaborative research culture within his department, actively supporting colleagues, especially early-career faculty, in developing their investigative capacity. Many of young academics have partnered with him on research projects, resulting in meaningful contributions to the field. He also demonstrated a strong aptitude for interdisciplinary and interdepartmental collaboration, both locally and internationally. Notably, under his mentorship as Head of Department, a junior colleague secured the prestigious African Research Excellence Fund (AREF) Fellowship (Approx. £35,000; Ref: AREF-332.ODET.F.CO995), with him as sponsor from the research institution (OAU), and Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, as the host institution. The fellowship was successfully completed, and the end-of-fellowship report has been submitted.
